What Should You Do Before Breast Augmentation Surgery ?

Before the operation, we provide free consultation for our clients so the doctor will ask about the shapes and your expectations about the operation to have the best results possible. Most of the breast augmentation sizes depend on the height, weight, width of the rib cage, and shoulders. Here is pre-operation guidelines you should follow:

Any medication consumed should be informed to the doctors.
Any chronic illness should be informed to the doctors.
If the patient smoke or drinks alcohol should be stopped before 2 weeks of the operation.
Hours before the operation avoid eating or drinking
Any allergies from any medical products should be known.
Stop using painkillers, herbal supplements, vitamins, aspirin, for 1 week before the operation.

During Breast Augmentation

After you all prepared for the operation general anesthesia will be done. Usually, a 4 cm incision will be done by the doctor in the area they decided. Due to anesthesia, some patients may have to stay in the -International Plus- one night after the operation and some could leave the day as the operation if the doctors allowed it.

After Breast Augmentation Operation

Post-surgery care is an important factor in ensuring the best results so here is some guidelines that should be taken into consideration:

You will be provided with a medical corset you should wear in the times specified by the doctors.
For a month at least after the operation, do not stretch your arms or lift heavy things,
Do not sleep on your chest for the first 15 days of the operation.
You should take the medications prescribed by the doctors on the regular and specified times.
Heavy sports activities should be avoided in the first month of the operation.
Smoking and alcohol should be avoided.
You will go back to normal life after 2 to 4 weeks of the operation.
